Our NR41 Yamaha linkage was designed to provide more comfort over chop and not allow the rear to get so low. The new Yamahas ride really low in the rear, giving harsh/unpredictable feelings under load. With the linkage the rear will feel more "stout" and you will have more comfort over chop, acceleration and braking. Our linkage is softer initially, and stiffer at the end of the stroke.
**No rear spring change is necessary for 23-24 models.
**2025 models require ideally two rates stiffer.
